The Black Flag of Christianity

We write this day for one reason and one reason alone. We right to declare once and for all that the message of the Gospel must not be lost. We accept no compromise. We accept nothing less than the Truth.

Christianity is not an inclusive religion.

Christianity is not a unifying religion.

Christianity is divisive.. subversive.. and dangerous.

Christianity pits brother against brother.. and Father against Son.

Christianity is not a religion of Peace... at least not until the Victory.

We will no longer tolerate the pathetic trade off.. we will not sacrifice the Truth for mere peace within the church. We will not compromise. Black is black. White is white. This is the end.

Paul did not barter the Truth for peace.

Jesus did not barter the Truth for peace.

Neither shall we.

It is time for Christians to shake off their cowardice and insecurity. It is time for Christians to speak the truth regardless of the consequences.

The time is now.

Hoist the Colors.

The Grub Eaters, They Bitch

So apparently Brazilian President Luiz InĂ¡cio Lula da Silva has blamed the economic crisis on everyones favorite villain... "White People with Blue Eyes". Thankfully I have brown eyes so apparently I'm not accountable... unfortunately my beautiful wife can't say the same. For the life of me I can't imagine how she found the time to wreck the global markets... but I digress.

We at the Bloggerblaster would like to share a little bit of information with President da Silva... If it weren't for white people with blue eyes... his country would still be populated with prehistoric neanderthals incapable of comprehending the need for a wheel. I can't help but notice that da Silva spoke while wearing a nice suit... as opposed to a loin cloth. For that, we should all thank white men. He also spoke into a microphone. which was invented by a white man... and his words were broadcast over TV, Radio, and the internet... which again... were all invented by white men. He also happens to be president of a democratic country... democracy... again... invented by white men.

The plain truth is most international bankers are white europeans because international banking was invented by white europeans. Mr da Silva's country has benefited immeasurably from the labor of that system... and the many other advances created by the white europeans that he is railing against.

We sincerely invite the Brazilian president to kiss our ass. And we're thankful to white europeans... who have civilized his country to the point that we can safely offer up our faultless hindquarters for such kissing without fear the brazilian reverting to the cannibalistic tendencies of his native ancestors.
Citified Stupid

Apparently more and more cities are adopting daytime curfew laws that single out teens. I can't imagine that anyone would ever submit to a curfew. Allowing some moron politician to tell me when I can or can't leave my own house?

How you city folks tolerate that crap...I'll never understand.

So anyway... just so I'm clear... if I was homeschooling in Dallas... I couldn't let my kids ride their bikes around during the day. They would be arrested... and I would be fined. Brilliant.

I also get a kick out of the statistics used to justify the new law. So because half of the kids arrested for burglary were "picked up during daytime hours" that means a curfew will help. Umm... what difference does that make?

Notice it does not say the crimes were committed during the day... only that more than half of the kids that were actually picked up were picked up during the day. Wow. Do you think that's because they simply went to the schools and got the kids there? or talked to people at the school and found out where to find them? I'll got out on a limb here and say that the majority of all arrests take place in the daylight hours.

But see it doesn't matter what the stats are. Most folks can't understand them, and don't care anyway. They'll make a knee jerk emotional reaction to the story and formulate an opinion based solely on that.

Daniel Hannan MEP: The devalued Prime Minister of a devalued Government

Beat down. Someone find me an american politician that has the balls to stare down the powerful morons running this country, the way this man confronted the Prime Minister.

Tuesday, March 24, 2009

Just a Quickie:

Isn't entertaining that the lefty morons continually shouted "fascism" at the Bush administration, yet they fully support their man he when actually practices it.

Now.. please forgive my lack of blogging. It seems that preparing for a family vacation in central america is more taxing than one would otherwise suspect. Costa Rica in early may! Woo Hoo!

Eyes On The Ball

Hey morons... how about instead of throwing temper tantrums over tempestuous teakettles you pay attention to the maelstrom about to suck the whole damned ship down?

While you've been busy wadding up your panties over bonuses paid to AIG big shots... the House snuck of and passed HR 1833.

What's that?

You don't know what HR 1833 is?

Oh its no big deal... its nothing really... its just a little bill that gives Obama the authority to create the civilian defense force he's been secretly masturbating over in the Oval Office.

But hey... keep worrying about those bonuses... never mind that your kids are going to be forced to go through a government boot camp of brainwashing. Good thing you've got your priorities in order.

The Audacity of Stupid

I feel the need to remind you that I don't like people. Nor do I particularly care for going into public... because they are so commonly found there. Occasionally... though.. I am forced to.

Like today... in an effort of good will I took my mother-in-law's trash to the local dump.

Now I have to think that for most folks this is a routine errand... and should be utterly uneventful. Of course... its just these type of things that invariably gets me into trouble.

But I knew that's just what would happen as soon as I saw the so-called dump. See... dumps don't exist anymore... now you have Recycling Temples.. were the worthy come to give their offerings to the Goddess.

Anyway... so... clearly I'm to approachable. I say that with confidence... because in spite of wearing tactical boots and pants, complete with a steyr in a shoulder rig and a backup on my hip... I still find myself addressed by inferiors.

I got out of the escalade... carried the trash bags through the maze of depositories and the hippies milling about... and threw the bags down into the compactor... when I heard...

"Young man were there any recyclables in those bags?"

I turned to see a damned dirty hippie... a wretched old man with a long white beard and ridiculous ponytale... He wore a ratty t-shirt... skin tight... short shorts... black socks and tennis shoes.

I wanted to shoot him. I against my better judgement... I did not. I paused... thought.. and said..

"Well... old man... if I say no will that keep you from diving into that compactor after them in a wild last ditch effort to save the planet?"

He blinked several times at me... and finally I said, "Yes. Yes I believe there were." And walked off.

How Convenient...

So.. everyone who knew this cat in Alabama said he was quiet and easy going. No one could believe he'd do something like this.

But the cops say he did. So he did.

And isn't it funny that right around the time Obama is talking about banning "assault weaposn" a regular Joe shoots up two towns with weapons that just happen to fit the exact cosmetic details of the old assault weapons ban.

There is more to this story people.
Repost: Oklahoma City Bombing

It Wasn't Just fertilizer.

The first thing I am going to do here is destroy the government's story. Actually... It's been done a hundred times before. So it isn't really that tough for me. What you will find here was compiled from several sources in a book by David Hoffman. The information is easily verifiable, should you choose to distrust Mr Hoffman's word or his extensive bibliography. I've actually looked up some of the numbers myself, just to check.

Buckle up kids. Here we go:

- In a letter hand-delivered to each member of Congress U.S. Air Force Brigadier General, Benton K. Partin stated:"When I first saw the pictures of the truck-bomb's asymmetrical damage to the Federal Building, my immediate reaction was that the pattern of damage would have been technically impossible without supplementing demolition charges at some of the reinforcing concrete column bases. For a simplistic blast truck-bomb, of the size and composition reported, to be able to reach out on the order of 60 feet and collapse a reinforced column base the size of column A-7 is beyond credulity." When it comes to things like this, we should listen to General Partin. He was personally responsible for practically every non-nuclear test the Air Force ran on this sort of thing... meaning... when it comes to blowing up buildings with bombs, particularly pattern damage... he's one of the brightest guys on the planet.

- Dr Samuel Cohen also knows a little about explosives... considering he invented the Neutron Bomb. In a letter sent to Representative Charles Key he states: "It would have been absolutely impossible and against the laws of nature for a truck full of fertilizer and fuel oil, no matter how much was used, to bring the building down."

- Dr. Roger Raubach, a Professor of Chemistry, who served on the research faculty of Stanford University says: "General Partin's assessment is absolutely correct. I don't care if they pulled up a semi-trailer truck with 20 tons of ammonium-nitrate; it wouldn't do the damage we saw there." He goes on to say, in an interview with The New American magazine: "The detonation velocity of the shock wave from an ANFO (ammonium-nitrate/fuel-oil) explosion is on the order of 3,500 meters per second. In comparison, military explosives generally have detonation velocities that hit 7,000 to 8,000-plus meters per second. The most energetic single-component explosive of this type, C-4--which is also known as Cyclonite or RDX--is about 8,000 meters per second and above. You don't start doing big-time damage to heavy structures until you get into those ranges, which is why the military uses those explosives."

- Blasters agree: Sam Gronning has been blowing things up professionally for over 30 years. He also told New American: "I set off a 5,000 lb ANFO charge. I was standing 1,000 feet from it, and all it did was muss my hair, take out the mud in the creek that we were trying to get rid of, and shatter a few leaves off the trees around it. It didn't cause any collateral damage to any of the deeply set trees that were within 20 feet of it."

- ANFO just isn't a very good explosive for big work. A publication from the Atlas Powder company states: "agricultural fertilizer prills when made into ANFO had very poor explosive characteristics. They would not detonate efficiently because of their high density, lack of porosity and heavy inert coatings of anti-setting agents. The ability of an oiled prill to be detonated depends greatly upon the density of the prill. Dense prills, such as agricultural grade, often are not detonable at all; or if initiated, perform at a very low rate of detonation and may die out in the bore hole performing no useful work.-- Army demolition manuals clearly state, ANFO is not good for destroying concrete or steel, as stated in Army Manual TM 31-210: Improvised Munitions Handbook.

- 4800 pounds of ANFO mixed with racing fuel (the 4th and final report the government gave on the explosive McVeigh used) would produce a pressure wave of roughly 300lbs per square inch at the blast point, and the force would dissipate quickly with distance. In other words, 30 to 40 feet away, it wouldn't have even scratched the paint off the Murrah Building, which, contrary to Soldier of Fortune's hit piece, was actually designed to withstand earth-quakes, and explosive attack.

- According to the engineers and architects who designed the Murrah building, the concrete used was designed to withstand pressures of 2000 to 4000 pounds per square inch.

- According to concrete manufacturers that estimate is very low, and doesn't account for steel reinforcement, which would put the numbers closer to 10,000 psi.

- Several otherwise intelligent people who would like to refute this evidence like to site several other ANFO bombings that produced substantial damage, such as the Marine Bunker that got trashed in Beirut in 1982. They neglect to consider that the bomb in that case was detonated from inside the building, and the building was smaller, and infinitely lighter than the Murrah building. Some other examples:

In the summer of 1996, an IRA truck-bomb detonated in the heart of Manchester's financial district. The device, constructed of ANFO and 3,500 pounds of Semtex, a high-velocity, military-grade plastic explosive, caused considerable damage to the surrounding buildings, but left them relatively intact. Although the device managed to break a lot of windows and injure 206 people, no one was killed.

On June 25, 1996, a tanker-trailer packed with RD-X plastic explosives blew up outside the Khobar Towers apartment complex at King Abdul Aziz Air Base in Saudi Arabia, killing 19 American servicemen and injuring hundreds more. While the blast produced a crater 35 feet deep and 85 feet across (the crater in Oklahoma was approximately 6 feet deep and 16 feet across, although the government claimed it was 30 feet), it didn't do the same amount of damage done to the Murrah Building--a building constructed to much more rigorous codes and specifications.

Enough of that silliness. So what did happen? I've not heard any credible talk that denies that there was fertilizer, and probably a fertilizer bomb present. Most likely it was a diversion.
Smoke and Mirrors for the real thing, or more specificly things, inside the building. And speaking of that...

- Strategic Investment newsletter reported that a Pentagon study had been leaked which backed up General Partin's analysis: A classified report prepared by two independent Pentagon experts has concluded that the destruction of the federal building in Oklahoma City last April was caused by five separate bombs. The two experts reached the same conclusion for the same technical reasons. Sources close to the Pentagon study say Timothy McVeigh did play a role in the bombing but peripherally, as a "useful idiot." The multiple bombings have a Middle Eastern "signature," pointing to either Iraqi or Syrian involvement.

- David Hall, general manager of KPOC-TV in Ponca City, Oklahoma, who has investigated the ATF's role in the bombing. He gave us some tastey quotes relating to deliveries to the Murrah Building: "We do know that explosives were delivered there without a doubt. We know there were six boxes of 25 to 35 pounds marked 'high explosives' delivered to the building two weeks prior to the explosion. We had contact with the truck driver who was involved in that delivery. The name of the trucking company is Tri-State, located in Joplin, Missouri."

- Tri-State is an explosives carrier.- Mr Hall also says: "We also know that the ATF had a magazine inside the building, which was illegal. But the floor was blown out of that magazine. And there's some question about what was in there too that created that damage, because that was a foot of concrete that was blown out of that magazine."

- Mr Hall stopped investigating the matter in 1995 when the IRS audited him.

- Oklahoma City Fire Marshal Dick Miller reported that a bomb was found on the third floor of the building (in the ATF office actually) that had timer. The timer was set to 9:10am. The bomb had malfunctioned. Other witnesses at the scene saw the bomb squad carry it away, and local news casters mentioned it on air.

- Investigator Phil O'Halloran has Bill Martin of the Oklahoma City Police Department on tape stating that one of the bombs found in the building was two to three five-gallon containers of Mercury Fulminate--a powerful explosive--one not easily obtainable except to military sources.- According to the CIA Mercury Fulminate residue was found on the roof-tops of several buildings near-by.

- Governor Frank Keating told reporters: "The reports I have is that one device was deactivated, and there's another device, and obviously whatever did the damage to the Murrah Building was a tremendous, very sophisticated explosive device."

- During live coverage KFOR announced: "The second explosive was found and defused. The third explosive was found--and they are working on it right now as we speak. I understand that both the second and the third explosives were larger than the first."

-Channel 4 interviewed terrorism expert Dr. Randall Heather. Dr. Heather stated: "We should find out an awful lot, when these bombs are taken apart. We got lucky today, if you can consider anything about this tragedy lucky. It's actually a great stroke of luck, that we've got defused bombs. It's through the bomb material that we'll be able to track down who committed this atrocity."

To sum up... The Government would have you believe that a couple guys got together... bought fertilizer, rented a truck, mixed up 1000.. I mean... 2000... no.. 4000.... wait... 4800 pound bomb... parked the truck 40 feet from the Murrah Building... and created an explosion that did so much damage to the building that it had to be demolished.

As you can see, this is not possible. ANFO cannot be used to make a shaped charge. Any dynamic engineer or blaster will confirm this. If it were even possible, it would require the same type of electronics used in our nukes.

I reckon at this point you've either been convinced that a truck full of ANFO couldn't have possibly done what they say it did. Either that, or you're gonna head of on a fact finding mission. If you choose the latter, I am confident you will eventually conclude the same thing I did.

Legends and Ghosts

The following story is true.

"Funny how the inexplicable always seems to show up in times of desperation."

It was a strange think to hear... sitting at a little hole in the wall bar in God's no where West Virginia. The man that had said it was sitting next to me... talking to himself... or maybe to no one at all... but his buddy gave a knowing nod.

I didn't give the matter much thought. I wasn't there for a philosophy lecture... I wanted a beer. By that time I'd had four.

By the time I'd had six me and those two ol' boys were becoming drinkin' buddies. Turns out they were regulars... and I wasn't... but tonight I was... at least that's how they put it. It was good enough for them anyway.

After a long while I asked Charlie what he ment... about things happening in desperate times.

What follows... the the story he and Al told me.

"Not the best name for a Ranger in Vietnam is it? Charlie... You can't imagine how sick I was of hearin' the same 3 jokes. Shut up Al... no one asked you."

Al laughed. "See... Charlie here... he and I were Rangers... and well... we saw a lot of things. Oh I'm not talking about plain ol' killing... or man's cruelty to man or any of that college boy shit. I'm talkin'... we saw some strange shit."

"I got this Al." Charlie began.

"There's legends Nate... and ghosts... and that's all Vietnam is... Legends and Ghosts. " He paused... sipped a little whiskey... then he continued.

"It was the start of the dry season... and the little man in the black pajamas had a hard on for his annual offensive. The little pricks had manuevered a whole damned brigade out... and some of our boys had gotten stuck behind them. I tell ya... it weren't no damned good. Thats when they called us. Airlift in there... bust 'em out. Impossible? Of course it was impossible. They were sending two platoons in up against God knows what kind of blocking force... probably at least two companies. But hell... we're Rangers. That's what we do."

Al shook his head a chuckled a bit to himself.

Charlie continued.

"We were probing for weak spots... some place we could break through... oh... the truth is we could've hammered our way through anywhere we wanted.. but we wanted it clean and neat. Quiet. Fear is important in war... Anyway... I don't want you to believe me and Al were big time players in this deal... we were just scouts... running along picking out victims. Anyway... we were creepin' through the thickest damned jungle on God's earth... not far from the Cambodia border... when we found what we were lookin' for. "

At this point... Al interupted... "Sorta."

"Yeah... sorta. See Nate... there weren't two companies.... there was a whole damned brigade. Dug in. Ready for a fight. Like they knew we were comin'... Like they'd been there a while. But Nate..."

He turned and looked me in the eye.

"Nate they were all dead. Every damned one of them.... "

"Shit man", all said, "I looked at 15 bodies.. not one bullet wound.... just... dead."

We didn't know what happened.. and we didn't care to find out. We radio'd back... we rushed in and got our boys out... and left the NVA to figure out."

Charlie sat there a moment... sipped his whiskey... and shook his head.

Al spoke up..

"See... Nate... when we got to our men... turned out it was an ARVN unit... yeah... don't ask... anyway... man... they were white... terrified... kept mumbling some shit about a... spirit protector. The god Gio'ng or some shit..."

"I need more whiskey" said Charlie.

and I simply replied...

"So do I."

When I got home that night... I did a little research on Gio'ng. Ghosts and Legends indeed.
The End of Hope

From Bondage to Spiritual Awakening
From Spiritual Awakening to Great Courage
From Great Courage to Liberty
From Liberty to Prosperity
From Prosperity to Complacency
From Complacency to Apathy
From Apathy to Dependence
From Dependence to Bondage

Nation after nation has been damned to the same cycle. I ask you... what stage is America in today?

Believe me... I am well aware of the states rights talk. I note that in even the most feminized work places... secession is no longer a curse word... or a word muttered only by crazy Lost Causers. Its a word being thrown around on talk radio. This is a welcome change.

But answer the question... what stage are we in? Are we seeing Spiritual Awakening? or are we seeing a dependent's temper tantrum? And do we think for a moment that the man who was sworn into office with the personal Bible that the Bastard Lincoln used to mock will react with anything but supreme violence? Do we yet have Great Courage?

Who will profit... besides the undertakers?

Oh certainly we have the revolutionary right to destroy or dismember our government... but do we have the will to exercise that right?

What about 2 years of depression from now? Now that a different question. See suffering has a way of bringing about Spiritual Renewal. People become self reliant when the economy has been down as long as ours is going to be down... and when consumerism is no longer there to distract them... their priorities often work themselves back to the proper order. God and family rise back to the top... and when God rises back to the top... Great Courage follows soon after.

Nevada and Louisiana passed Sovereignty bills in the late 90s. Both actually spelled out specific conditions under which they would secede. Given how much communication has spead up the process... and the rate at which these Sovereignty bills are being passed... its tough to guage where we are in comparison. Are we in 1850? Or are we in 1840? Or... are we in 1859?

And what if it is a Spiritual Awakening? What if the unPresidented power grab has indeed splashed cold water on the face of a slumbering giant? What then?

Why not Freedom?

Indeed someone does profit... not just the undertakers... but the whole world. The world needs a strong free nation. The world needs a lighthouse... a gleaming fire that burns clear and bright... showing the way not to power... but to prosperity. But the world is not our concern. Our concern is our posterity.

This is not a call to arms friends.

This is an alter call.

Piss on NYC

The Big Apple my ass. I've called 10 different resturaunts today... and out of the 9 people that answered the phone... only one of them spoke english. Well, that may not be entirely accurate... I mean they may be speaking some kind of english... I just know I could understand a word they were saying. Apparently in New York you're only allowed 1 syllable... so all your words have to be condensed into one constant sound with no breaks at all. Combine that with a revolting yankee accent spliced over some random middle eastern accent.

Seriously... appart from the guests at the hotel... I have no seen a single white person.

Not one.

I'm certain that there are in fact white people in New York... I know two of them quite well... But I am begining to wonder if they are the only ones. And ya know... now that I think about it... its not that I haven't seen any white people.. I mean.. I haven't seen any black people either! I mean ok... our cabbie was a black dude... that's it. That's the only black or white person I've laid eyes on.

Ok... enough bitching... the place is miserable and discusting and there is nothing here to justify its existence.... other than the fact that it thins out the asshole population east of the mississippi by attracting so many to one spot.

You know...

Like California does out west.

Someone nuke this place.

Boys... a friend is havin' a hard time findin' himself a sidearm. He's apparently got some big ol' meat hooks.. such that even Glocks don't feel right. We could take the easy way out and advize him to get a Desert Eagle.

My initial thought goes to Ol' Taurus PT-101. Its a double stack .40. It fills up your hand.
Now before you go gettin' your panties wadded up about it being a beretta clone.. I would caution you... because its not. Its a superior weapon to the Beretta. You can carry this cocked and locked. Its got a lot of steal where the Beretta has a lot of aluminum... its more accurate and more reliable. Those are the facts.
On the Tobacco front I would like to like to complain about NYC... which apparently has out lawed the products to the point that they simply are not available for purchase. May the whole city burn... after we're gone.
Ah well... that leaves booze.... Tonight I'm reduced to heading down to the hotel bar for over priced bourbon. Oh yes... Ask me how much a liter of Makers Mark is...
103 dollars.
I guess the Hyper-Inflationists were right.
Mel Brooks does Foreign Policy

Thanks to Bill for this heads up. You have to see this to believe it.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton opened her first extended talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov by giving him a present meant to symbolize the Obama administration’s vow to “press the reset button” on U.S.-Russia relations.

She handed a palm-sized box wrapped with a bow. Lavrov opened it and pulled out the gift: a red button on a black base with a Russian word peregruzka printed on top.

“We worked hard to get the right Russian word. Do you think we got it?” Clinton asked.

“You got it wrong,” Lavrov said. Instead of “reset,” Lavrov said the word on the box meant “overcharge.”

Gaff after Gaff after Gaff. Putin and the boys are laughing at the US the same way we laughed at them in the mid 80s.
End Game: Hyper-Inflation vs. Hyper-Deflation

When it comes to predicting doom... Those Who Read the Bones are divide into two camps... there are those who believe there will be hyper-inflation... and those who believe just the opposite... hyper-deflation.

I'm going to explain the two catastrophes in extremely simplified terms... and yes... some accuracy will be lost in the translation but bear with me. Lets start with the Hyper-Deflationists.. whom we'll call the Downers... for the sake of brevity.

Now... first of all I need to state the position of the Downers isn't nearly as clear cut as the Uppers (hyper-inflationists). What the Downers fear, and among them you can count the Fed, is another a decline in the value of treasuries held by... you guessed it... the Fed. Look.. the Fed is out to make money... and make money they do. So if the market for US Treasuries starts to dry up then you can bet they won't hesitate to raise rates. That's why Hillary is out there begging at the feet of the Chinese. The administration has been told clearly... if the treasury market turns down... the Fed will raise rates... maybe dramaticly. That would result in a perfect storm. Banks, already terrified of even the slightest risk (because of their insane leveraged positions), would be forced to pay even more for money. Credit card interest rates go up. Mortgage rates go up... and that drives home prices even lower. The economy shuts down. Full Stop. Now Maggie Thatcher could handle that... How do thing Barak Obama will do?

Ok... that sounds pretty scary... and pretty reasonable... what's the other side say?

Well... the Upper position is a little more clear. We've been staving off economic collapse for decades by inflating one bubble after another. Think of the tech bubble in the 90s. We had a soft landing because at the same time it was popping, we were inflating a new real estate bubble. That's all good and fine... but its just ducktape on a dyke. We've been printing money and printing money... So much so that the Fed won't even release M3 anymore. Now.. the End Game for the Uppers is when everyone wakes up and realizes one day that the emperor has no clothes. And when I say that... I'm talking about not just dollar inflation... but everything inflation. The dollar is more leveraged than any bank ever was. Why? Because the currencies that are being used to prop the dollar up are also incredibly inflated. We have inflated a dollar bubble with a Euro bubble with a Yen bubble so to speak. Virtually every currency is inflated... So its very similar to a bank run. Its the true downside to globalization. Once one currency falls, they all start falling... then all those dollars start coming home to roost and the value of the dollar hits the floor. Its Germany in 1923. The dollar is losing its value so fast that literally people are leaving work to go shopping before their money is completely worthless. Also scary. Also not good.

The problem I have is... and maybe someone can clear it up for me... Why can't both happen?

Why can't China stop buying our debt... at the same time the dollar crashes? Sure.. the Fed raises rates through the roof... but it doesn't matter because the US government is spending money that doesn't exist like there is no tomarrow... because well... they honestly believe there isn't. So home prices crash because the dollar is worthless... and crash further because the rates are so high... and crash further because even at the high rates very few banks will lend. But even that deflationary influence isn't enough because the government is spending so much.

What you have is something akin to the Great Depression... where money was worthless... but you still can't get any of it, because the government controlled institutions were simultenously limiting supply to the people, while the government itself was choking the life out of the currency by spending the hell out of it. Of course buy spending it, what I mean is, printing it up from no where and giving it away to people or banks that gladly take it... then run like hell.

Its a big bloody damned mess people. And all I know is... you better buy gold. Ya know why? Becuase if the Downers are right... you aren't gonna be able to get ahold of any currency at all. But if you have gold... you can spend it. Dig? You'll have something to use to trade.... something with a known market value.

On the other hand... if the Uppers are right... well... your gold will be invaluable for the same reason.

The moral?

It doesn't matter who's right. They may both be right. All you need to know is... buy gold.

My biggest hope is actually tied to my biggest fear. The globalisation that leads to the crash could be the saving grace of the dollar... because when the fed does crank up the rates... the demand that disappeared could easily come back... lifting up the dollar inspite of the inflationary pressure of government gone wild.

In other words... if the government would just do nothing... we'd be fine in a few months. But the government will not do nothing... and it will drag out this whole thing for several years before the international demand finally catches up with us and brings us back to normalcy.

On Inflation

Von Mises says it well:

"Inflation, as this term was always used everywhere and especially in this country, means increasing the quantity of money and bank notes in circulation and the quantity of bank deposits subject to check. But people today use the term `inflation' to refer to the phenomenon that is an inevitable consequence of inflation, that is the tendency of all prices and wage rates to rise. The result of this deplorable confusion is that there is no term left to signify the cause of this rise in prices and wages. There is no longer any word available to signify the phenomenon that has been, up to now, called inflation. . . . As you cannot talk about something that has no name, you cannot fight it. Those who pretend to fight inflation are in fact only fighting what is the inevitable consequence of inflation, rising prices. Their ventures are doomed to failure because they do not attack the root of the evil. They try to keep prices low while firmly committed to a policy of increasing the quantity of money that must necessarily make them soar. As long as this terminological confusion is not entirely wiped out, there cannot be any question of stopping inflation."

Very Interesting...

I would like to point out two articles of interest... though seemingly unrelated.

Note this one first.. where-in we learn of inflation in Belize. Here's the money quote from the Statistical Bureau of Belize:

"It concludes that the rate of inflation in 6 other Caribbean countries is expected to vary from 7% and 14%."

Now... lets be honest... such a figure doesn't seem particularly interesting at all does it? I mean.. these backwater countries are all the time devaluing their currencies to try to mask their insane expenditures.

Oh wait... I said two articles didn't I? Sorry... here's the other... Note that bit where it says the currency of Belize is pegged to the US dollar.

Let that sink in for a minute.

Got it yet?

The Belize dollar is pegged to the US dollar. That means it cannot be inflated by Belize. It can only be inflated by...
Math Is Hard

One of the infuriating things about life in America is the predictablility of media ignorance. All day I've been hearing that the Dow has now lost 48% of its value.

The Dow Jones all time high was on October 9 of 2007. It was 14164. Today.. the Dow closed at 6763.

Does that sound like 48% to you?

No. In fact... 6763 is almost exactly 48% of 14164. Therefore the Dow has not lost 48% of its value... it has lost 52% of its value. And just in case you're one of those types that likes to talk about how this is just like the 70's.. and no where near as bad as the depression... I suggest you consider this...

We're 16 months into this shindig... and we've lost 52%. 16 months into the Great Depression... we'd lost a grand total of... 55%. As for the 70s... we've already surpassed that percentage loss and show no signs of recovering.

See... we're not really in uncharted territory here... we're just in territory that hasn't been charted since 1930.
